Shana taught English at the middle and high school level off and on for eleven years. Most of those years were spent working in Houston’s inner city. Now she writes full time. She’s happily married and has a daughter who is most definitely a romance heroine in the making.

Shana loves all the fascinating aspects of the Regency Era. There’s just such a wealth of topics to write about, from the Ton to the rookeries to The Napoleonic Wars. She never runs out of ideas!

Shana enjoys reading all the answers to the questions authors have on the Beau Monde Chapter’s forum. Often they are questions she hasn’t thought about, but she’s interested in the answers. Shana can’t recall exactly how long she’s been a member, but she finaled in the Royal Ascot contest in 2004-ish, so she thinks it’s probably since before then.
